Project Details
Loft conversions come in all shapes, sizes and degrees of complexity and CPM Design and Build is nearing the end of a fascinating project in Romiley. The project comprised a single story rear extension and a loft conversion. The loft conversion required the roof to be taken off and the external elevations, along with two gables, being built up in natural stone. A new natural slate roof is in place and completion is estimated for mid March.
CPM Design and Build are always conscious of the inevitable disruption to family life during any residential building project, but particularly one of this nature. So a scaffold complete with weather tight canopy was erected over the roof space and throughout the reconstruction, the building remained watertight and the family were able to stay in residence, warm and dry.
This project perfectly demonstrates the professional approach taken by CPM Design and Build to minimise the inconvenience to householders while their houses are being extended.
